Users Group

Fuelcells are now entering the commercialisation phase of their development for stationary power, cogeneration (combined heat and power) and small power applications. It is therefore now becoming important to study user experience of the procurement of fuelcells and a fuelcell users group will help with this process.

If you are a potential user of fuelcells for stationary power, cogeneration (combined heat and power) and other small power applications, then you are invited to register here with the Fuelcell Users Group. We hope to become an important link between the manufacturers of fuelcells and their potential customers. We believe that by sharing our experience of specification, procurement, costs and development of fuelcells the process of commercialisation can be speeded up to the benefit of all the members of the group.

Membership of the Fuelcell Users Group will be of interest to the following: energy service companies; mechanical and electrical consulting engineers and contractors; plant and facilities managers; utilities managers; architects and planners energy planners; and combined heat and power operators.

In due course, private householders will become interested when domestic systems are available. This interest will probably be served by consumer groups such as Which? joining the Users Group.

When we know what level of interest there is in forming the Fuelcell Users Group, we will post our proposals for organising the group here on the site.

We envisage establishing a website-based community of people with a shared interest in fuelcell applications and procurement.

The group will help determine the needs of the market for fuelcells, and this will be of value to fuelcell manufacturers and suppliers. Manufacturers and suppliers will provide details of their products and development plans to the group.

Please answer the questions on the online form below, we look forward to hearing from you. All information will be available on the site but there will also be commercial activities arranged off-site for which registration is necessary.

In the Comments box please enter such information as what application you would be interested in using fuelcells for, your current employment or anything else you consider relevant?
