Welcome to Our Schools Section
We regard the Schools section and The Renewable Energy Project For Schools in particular, as a corner stone of this site. Enabling children to learn about renewable energy over the next ten years is an essential part of getting the necessary change in attitudes needed to save the world from the ravages of current energy policy and economic forces. Hopefully the children we are reaching out to will become the informed campaigners who eventually change the world.
We plan to have this section organised ready for the Autumn Term in September 2000. In the meantime we would like schools and individual teachers who are interested in the Renewable Energy Project For Schools to register with us so that we can have an idea of the response and to help us organise our communications so we get off to a smooth start. By the Autumn we hope to have the proposed structure of the project defined and classroom worksheets ready to enable teachers to incorporate renewable energy into their teaching of Geography and Science. So please register your interest either using the online form herewith, by email, or send a letter. If you have any renewable energy activities under way please let us know.
